As part of the July 21, 2020 update for Fortnite Save the World, Epic introduced ‘Ventures’ into the game. This allows players to re-experience level and resource progression as they work their way up through the ranks of each ‘Ventures’ Season.
Weapon Research Vouchers are obtained as level rewards in these new Ventures levels. Specifically, Weapon Research Vouchers are given out as some of the first 50 level rewards. Gameplay Reperk’s and Superchargers are also available as level rewards during these first 50 levels.
Currently, it appears as though this is the only way players will be able to get Weapon Research Vouchers, and even then they’re pretty limited.
It appears as though Epic’s only going to drop one Weapon Research Voucher as a Ventures reward each season, so be prepared for lots of grinding each new season to get more.

For now, it seems that there is only one Weapon Research Voucher available in a season. So if you want to get another one, you might have to wait until another season drops.

Weapon Research Voucher's are a Legendary Account Resource that are used to research (obtain) Legendary or Mythic event weapon's inside the Collection Book . You can obtain the Weapon Research Voucher from leveling up in Venture Zones. During Season 1 of Ventures, you had to reach Level 25 to obtain this item. During Season 2 and Season 3 of Ventures, you had to reach Level 13 to obtain this item.
How to Get a Weapon Voucher in Save the World
You can get a Weapon Voucher in Save the World by completing certain quests or objectives. One such quest is called “The LostVault” where you must find and open a hidden vault. Once you have completed this quest, you will be rewarded with a Weapon Voucher. You can also get a Weapon Voucher by purchasing it from the in-game store using real money.

You can buy any of the legendary schematics that arent available to research with legendary flux with the weapon voucher. Think it over before you spend the voucher. RPGs are the strongest weapons in the game but remember their ammo is expensive which is why people dont usually use them for a main gun (not saying you are).
