NIOS 10th, 12th Exams 2022: TMA submission link activated, know how to upload
Nios 10th, 12th exams 2022 tma submission link has been activated. candidates can check how to upload the tma through these simple steps given below. .
National Institute of Open Schooling has activated the submission link of TMA for NIOS Class 10, 12 Session 2022. The link for downloading or uploading Tutor Mark Assignment has become operational with immediate effect. Candidates can download or upload their TMAs through the official site of students portal of NIOS on sdmis.nios.ac.in.
As per the <strong>official notice</strong> , for the learners of the current session i.e. Stream (Block 1) of the year 2021, NIOS has given an option to submit the TMAs online or offline at the respective study center. From the next session i.e. Stream 1 of the year 2021, it is mandatory for all the learners to submit/ upload the TMAs online only.
NIOS 10th, 12th Exams 2022: How to upload TMA
Candidates can check the steps given below to submit TMA online.
- Visit the official site of Students portal of NIOS on sdmis.nios.ac.in.
- Login to the account.
- Prepare handwritten TMAs for each subject in PDF file.
- From the student dashboard, click on download/ upload TMA.
- Select the subject which you want to upload TMA and Select the medium/ language in which you have prepared TMA to upload.
- Select the correct PDF and click on submit button to upload the TMA.

Jail Inmates - (Oct. 2019)
No Barriers in Education of Jail Inmates
Apart from affiliated schools, NIOS is presently having Study Centres (AAs, AIs, & AVIs ) in Jails of India also. It was observed that more number of jail inmates wanted to join NIOS courses but because of their poor financial condition, they were unable to do so. Accordingly, it was felt that if NIOS could offer the courses to jail inmates free of cost, it would enable them join NIOS courses for getting themselves educated. Also, if they are provided quality education during their stay in jails, it would certainly help them in earning their livelihood and bringing them into the mainstream of society after they are released from jails.

Transfer of Credit (TOC)

Dual Enrollment and Part Admission
Under this provision, if in case a learner is studying in a regular school, or has already passed Secondary/ Senior Secondary examination or any other higher course from any recognised Board/University, he/she may opt for upto four subjects of his/her choice, to update knowledge and educational qualifications. However, on passing, only the Marksheet will be issued and no other Certificate will be issued. The entry requirement for dual enrolment and part admission will be as per NIOS admission rules (Table-3 Entry Requirements).

- 1 After successful submission of Online Application Form for Admission to Stream 1 Block 1, you will get a confirmation on your email address and Mobile Number submitted during registration process.
- 2 You can make the Payment during the registration process or you can also make the payment later by login into Student Panel using the user name and password sent to you in your email.
- 3 After successful payment of the Admission fee, you will be communicated through email with payment receipt. You can also print/download your payment receipt and your Application Form from your dashboard after login.

On-line admission for learners who want to appear under the on demand examination system (odes) of nios for secondary level (stream-3)or sr. secondary level (stream-4).
Stream for On-line admission is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed the Secondary Examination from the recognised Board and wish to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification, or learners who had appeared but could not clear, or who were eligible but could not appear in the Public Examination of the Secondary level from any recognised Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for the Secondary level only and entry requirement of age, address proof as per table 3. The learners may upload the failed marksheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) alongwith relevant/supporting document and photograph on appropriate space available in the Online Admission Form for confirmation of the admission. | NIOS has introduced 100% On-line admission at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level in order to facilitate learners to register. Under this scheme, the learner have three options: (i) He/She can register on-line directly by visiting the website of NIOS i.e., www.nios.ac.in (ii) He/She may visit his/her nearest AI (Study Centre)/Facilitation Centre and take help for on-line registration. (iii) He/She may visit the concerned Regional Centre of NIOS and take help for on line registration. (iv) He/She can use the services of the Common Services Centres of the Govt. of India for Online registration throughout the Country. |
| A learner who has passed class VIII and has valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course. | The certificate of date of birth issued by a Municipal Corporation, a Municipal Body, a Village Panchayat or any other body authorised by the Registrar, Birth and Death, Government of India, and the Aadhaar Card issued by Govt. Agency is a valid proof of date of birth. However, in case of orphans, street children etc., a medical certificate in respect of age issued by a Government Hospital is also acceptable as a valid proof of date of birth. |

Jail Inmates - (Oct. 2019)
No Barriers in Education of Jail Inmates
Apart from affiliated schools, NIOS is presently having Study Centres (AAs, AIs, & AVIs ) in Jails of India also. It was observed that more number of jail inmates wanted to join NIOS courses but because of their poor financial condition, they were unable to do so. Accordingly, it was felt that if NIOS could offer the courses to jail inmates free of cost, it would enable them join NIOS courses for getting themselves educated. Also, if they are provided quality education during their stay in jails, it would certainly help them in earning their livelihood and bringing them into the mainstream of society after they are released from jails.
• Learners of NIOS registered in Secondary and Senior Secondary courses under Stream 1 Block 2 of 2023 (whose first public exam will be held in Oct/Nov 2024) are eligible to pay the exam fee
• There is no need to pay the examination fee by the learners of NIOS registered in Secondary and Senior Secondary courses under Stream 2 of 2024 (whose first public exam will be held in Oct/Nov 2024) as the exam fee is collected along with the admission fee at the time of registration
• Exam fee must be paid by the learners of NIOS registered in Secondary and Senior Secondary courses under Stream 1 Block 1 of year 2023 and prior but not prior to Oct 2019.
• Exam fee must be paid by the learners of NIOS registered in Secondary and Senior Secondary courses under Stream 2 of year 2023 and prior but not prior to October 2020
• Mandatory gap of minimum 2 years between passing 10th and 12th: Learners of Senior Secondary courses who passed their class 10th after October 2022 (in April 2023, Oct 2023 or April 2024) shall pay the exam fee to appear in the public exams of Senior Secondary courses in October/November 2024 for not more than 4 subjects (including already passed subjects (if any)). Result of more than four subject(s) will not be declared and the learner will have to pay the exam fee to appear in the next public exam to complete the course for certification.
• Combination of subjects having exams on the Same Day: Learners who have opted the subjects, for which the exams will be held on the same day, shall pay the exam fee only for one of the subject out of the combination for which they opted during admission. Dual Enrollment and Part Admission
Under this provision, if in case a learner is studying in a regular school, or has already passed Secondary/ Senior Secondary examination or any other higher course from any recognised Board/University, he/she may opt for upto four subjects of his/her choice, to update knowledge and educational qualifications. However, on passing, only the Marksheet will be issued and no other Certificate will be issued. The entry requirement for dual enrolment and part admission will be as per NIOS admission rules (Table-3 Entry Requirements).
Instructions for online Admission to Secondary and Sr. Secondary courses in NIOS for the year 2024-25
- 1 After successful submission of Online Application Form for Admission to Stream 1 Block 1, you will get a confirmation on your email address and Mobile Number submitted during registration process.
- 2 You can make the Payment during the registration process or you can also make the payment later by login into Student Panel using the user name and password sent to you in your email.
- 3 After successful payment of the Admission fee, you will be communicated through email with payment receipt. You can also print/download your payment receipt and your Application Form from your dashboard after login.

You are registering for On Demand
On-line admission for learners who want to appear under the on demand examination system (odes) of nios for secondary level (stream-3)or sr. secondary level (stream-4).
Stream for On-line admission is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed the Secondary Examination from the recognised Board and wish to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification, or learners who had appeared but could not clear, or who were eligible but could not appear in the Public Examination of the Secondary level from any recognised Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for the Secondary level only and entry requirement of age, address proof as per table 3. The learners may upload the failed marksheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) alongwith relevant/supporting document and photograph on appropriate space available in the Online Admission Form for confirmation of the admission. The learners who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send original failed marksheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to Online Cell, NIOS, Room No. 408, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, NOIDA-201309, Uttar Pradesh. The Subjects available for appearing through ODES at Secondary level are Hindi (201), English (202), Sanskrit (209), Mathematics (211), Science & Technology (212), Social Science (213), Economics (214), Business Studies (215), Home Science (216), Psychology (222), Indian Culture & Heritage (223), Painting (225) and Data Entry Operations (229).

NIOS Extends Tutor Marked Assignment Submission Date Till March 10
Candidates can now submit their nios tma till march 10, 2022, through the official website-- nios.ac.in..
The last date for the submission of Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) has been extended by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Candidates can now submit their NIOS TMA till March 10, 2022, through the official website-- nios.ac.in.
Earlier, the last date of submission was February 15.
“Due to extension of admission in Stream 1 (Block 1) upto 30.11.2021 vide Notification: 64/2021 dated 15th November 2021, the last date for submission of Tutor Marked Assignment (TMAs) by the learners through online (learner dashboard) or offline to the AI (study centre) is further extended upto 10th March 2022 (Thursday) without late fee,” the NIOS said in a statement.

How to Write NIOS DELED Assignment?
National Institute of Schooling (NIOS) has mentioned the important instructions and guidelines to make DELED assignments in its programme guide.The learners can download the programme guide to read these guidelines.
These are known as Course Based Assignments.The NIOS DELED assignment question booklet can be easily downloaded from the official website. It is mandatory to write and submit the assignments for each theory course of DELED programme. These are the compulsory component of the instructional system.
To make it easy for the learners we have provided the important instruction and guidelines to write assignments.These are as follows:
- Learners are advised to use only foolscap size paper to write the DELED course assignment answers. Make sure the paper should not be very thin.
- You are requested to leave a 3/2” margin on the left and at least 4 lines in between each answer of the questions so that assignment evaluator can write useful comments at appropriate places.
- Learners should write the answer concise and systematic. They should focus on the aspect of the question and try to avoid irrelevant details.
- Write answer of each question as per the word limit mentioned in the assignment booklet.It should be noted that the word limit has been set only to sharpen the focus of the responses and not to restrict your expression. If you can write above the word limit, please make sure it should be relevant to the context of question.
- Don’t ask any other person to write your assignments. It should be written in your own handwriting. If any learner feel that his/her handwriting is not properly legible, he/she may type their responses. However, they should not send printed articles as their answer to assignments.
- The assignment-response should be complete in all respects. Incomplete responses will bring you poor grades.
- Learners should keep a copy of the assignment answers so that they can resubmit it in a situation if it may have been lost in postal transit.

- After successful entry of the marks of all learners of your AI, you must take out a hard copy of NIOS Assignment Submission Receipt for future use.
- Put your Signature & the seal of the AI on the hard copy and send it to the concerned Regional Centre.
