I have visited so many places of historical and tourist interest. But the visit which has a lasting impression on my mind is the visit of Kashmir. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. It is said to be the heaven on earth. It has the accolade of being “The Switzerland of India”. I was wonderstruck to see the ravishing beauty of Kashmir. With snow-clad mountains, tall-trees of Chinar, lush green plains and valleys, Kashmir is one of the most bewitching places on earth. It has been a great attraction for the tourists all across the country and abroad as well.

Kashmir is located in the Himalayan region. It is widely famous for its rich flora and fauna. The place holds great importance for the tourists who want to visit religious places. Kashmir is the home of deities and bounties. Kashmir has historical monuments, picturesque spots, enchanting landscapes and green forests in abundance. Some rare species of wild animals are found in the high altitude of Kashmir. Kashmir has been the abode of saints and sages. It is the land of gods and goddesses. Its serpentine rivers, huge calm lakes, mighty waterfalls, long lines of cypress trees are some of the delightful attractions for the tourists.

Wild strawberries are grown all over the Kashmir. Varieties of flowers add to the beauty of Kashmir. It is one of the best natural spots of India. Its exquisite scenery, superb sights, green fields combine to add to the grandeur of this God-gifted paradise on earth. Apart from the scenic beauty, the Shalimar and Nishaat Bagh, have great historical importance. They were built by Mughal King Jehangir.

The Chashme Shahi is known for its medicinal values. The Tattapani or the Sulphur lake water is believed to cure different types of skin diseases. Gulmarg and Sonmarg are the trekker’s trails. Chandanwari, Verinag, Anantnag and Nagin Lake are worth seeing places. The scene of Dal Lake with houseboats and their reflections in still waters of the lake present an impressive sight. The cave of Amarnath where the temple of Lord Shiva is located is a marvellous place for the religious tourists. Situated at a height of 15,000 ft., it is crowded during the month of September-October. Besides, there are shrines of historical and religious interest. Every year thousands of pilgrims visit these places from all across the country.

Kashmir is abundantly endowed with some of the best hill stations in India. They are Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam and Khilanmarg. Apart from having great scenic attraction, these places are good health resorts. Khilanmarg is the best place where tree-line ends in Kashmir.

All these and many more like its cultural hues, narrow ravines and gorges as well as hills and dales make it a heavenly abode on earth. Indeed, the beauty of Kashmir is enchanting.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited is the country of Kyrgyzstan. It lies in a mountainous area with stunning landscapes and nature untouched by humanity’s footprint. Kyrgyzstan is one of the former Soviet republics, which declared its independence in 1991 and joined the CIS. The country is unique with its pristine nature and numerous biosphere reserves. Besides, the Kyrgyz culture represents the nomadic lifestyle and rich history of the people. Along with an authentic cultural experience, Kyrgyzstan offers a great backpacking adventure for those who pay a visit.

When I first saw the beauty of the country’s nature, I was genuinely impressed. The picturesque scenery made me feel like I found myself in a storybook or a fairy tale. The open space seems to have no limits and stretches as far as the eye can see. Many countries are known for their beautiful nature, but the experience in Kyrgyzstan is unlike any other. As Stamboulis (2018) stated, the country is not highly populated, and no strict regulations prevent locals and tourists from exploring the countryside in its beauty, which, nevertheless, is not harmful to the wildlife. In such conditions, nature is blooming, the air always smells fresh, and clear water runs in rivers and streams.

Kyrgyzstan is often referred to as the “Swiss Alps of Central Asia” because of its location. The country lies between the Tien-Shan and the Pamir-Alay mountain ranges and encompasses a variety of ecosystems, among which mountain glaciers and arid canyons, alpine pastures and valleys, lakes and rivers (Jenish, 2017). The continental climate adds up to the unique experience one can get in the country, as various activities are available in different seasons, from swimming and horse riding to snowboarding and skiing. Kyrgyzstan cannot be boring, because wildlife is abundant and worth sightseeing in the country.

Visiting Kyrgyzstan is like being alive a hundred years ago, living in a country that is pure and innocent. As I arrived in Kyrgyzstan, the atmosphere of people’s life there astonished me. Even though the country has become more progressive, some locals still practice a semi-nomadic lifestyle, allowing the tourists to learn about the Kyrgyz culture and traditions. Apart from hiking in the mountains, another remarkable experience was tasting beshbarmak, a dish made of meat and noodles. It is meant to be eaten with hands, without cutlery, to focus on the flavors. However, it is difficult to name just one notable thing about Kyrgyzstan, since many experiences come to my mind. During my trip, I saw ancient petroglyphs of an old civilization and the historical routes of the Great Silk Road, tasted blini (traditional pancakes), touched the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, and got a chance to see the works of local artisans. The hospitality of the Kyrgyz people, direct descendants of Genghis Khan, to westerners made my experience unforgettable.

To sum up, Kyrgyzstan is a country of friendly people and beautiful views, attractive for tourists who want to expand their horizons and come into contact with nature. The Kyrgyz culture has developed over the centuries, but the influence of nomadic life can be tracked up to today. This feature makes the country a fascinating destination for people who like to learn something new about other nations. The country is highly underrated as a tourist landmark, but visiting it is a remarkable experience.

One place I visited that has beautiful views is Ha Long Bay , located in northeastern Vietnam. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped with rainforests.

I visited Ha Long Bay in the summer of 2019 with my family. We decided to take a trip there because we had heard so much about its stunning natural beauty and wanted to see it for ourselves. We took a two-day cruise to explore the bay and its many attractions.

From the cruise ship, the views were absolutely breathtaking. We could see the endless expanse of emerald green water dotted with hundreds of limestone karsts and islets. As we sailed through the bay, we also saw floating fishing villages, where local people live and work on the water, adding a cultural dimension to the natural beauty.

One of the highlights was visiting Sung Sot Cave, also known as Surprise Cave. The view from the entrance of the cave, overlooking the bay, was stunning. Inside, the cave itself was filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites, illuminated by colorful lights, making it a magical experience.

I think these views are so beautiful because they offer a perfect blend of natural wonder and tranquility. The sheer size and scale of the limestone islands are awe-inspiring, and the way they rise dramatically from the water creates a sense of otherworldly beauty. The harmony between the mountain, the lakes, and the surrounding cherry blossoms in springtime creates a visually stunning and deeply moving experience. The changing seasons also add different elements to the landscape, making it a place of perpetual beauty throughout the year.

Lately, I visited the Glacier National Park. The trip gave me immense pleasure after a long time period. This is one such area where nature has bestowed her exquisiteness to the mountains. The place is ideal for hiking and trekking. I consider myself fortunate that I got an opportunity to visit this place.

For long, I have been travelling to nearby places, sometimes alone, other times with my family. However, to the Glacier National Park, I visited alone. The area is rocky and filled with natural beauties. Thus, as per my perception, the best time to visit this park is during winter. This opinion may differ accordingly. I can guarantee that the best time is winter as I have visited this place in varying seasons but found the end of the year to be the perfect time. So, my last visit was somewhere in the middle of December.

To visit this place all alone, there were several reasons. I wanted to spend some quality time by myself. In my office, I had a massive workload. Being a professional in an IT agency, I had to work under stringent rules and regulations. Keeping all of this in mind, I was too exhausted to spend another week in the office. So, to rejuvenate myself, improve productivity and get back my strength, I decided to take a week off and travel.

As far as my experience is concerned, I found this place to be a naturally tranquil one. I found serenity by spending time in this place. The wilderness of the mountains simply flabbergasted me. The carved valleys and peaks were magnificent. Moreover, I had some good time hiking and riding on a boat. There were also camping services, but I was unable to avail them. Cycling was another adventurous activity I could find there. The night was bright and the million stars soothe your anxiety in no time.

I also liked the lakes and wide glaciers of the park. Out of all, I liked the mountain ranges the most as they were different from others that I have seen.

India is an amazingly beautiful country. It is bounded by the Himalayan range in the north and is covered by the Arabian Sea in the west, the Bay of Bengal in the east and the Indian Ocean in the south. I have visited many places in India. I have always been a mountain person. On that note, I visited Sikkim last winter. It was a beautiful trip of 20 days. I don’t clearly remember the exact date, but it was in May, 2019.

The weather was very chilly there. I visited the place with my family, which includes my parents and my sister and it was a beautiful experience. I have realised that you can have the most adventurous and daring trip with your friends, but it’s a different kind of fun with your family. When you are out with your parents, you might not be allowed to do daring things like you can do with your friends but you can have a safe and beautiful trip. You can always notice a change in parents’ behaviour, especially when you are on vacation. Neither do they scold their children to be disciplined nor follow the house rules. They shed off their strict self and tend to become friends and enjoy the beauty of nature along with you. I had my sister, who was my best friend too. We were always together.

Visiting a mountain region in winter is a challenge. It was extremely cold and snowy everywhere. We were visiting the place for the second time. So we didn’t go sightseeing and stayed and visited the local places which we missed. It was as if the snow-capped mountains were calling us. We visited a village and decided to spend the entire afternoon with them. The people there were so humble. They offered us food. It was the most memorable incident there.

Sikkim is one of the smallest states of India, situated in the Northeastern part. Since my childhood, I was drawn towards mountains more than I was towards the sea. Mountains are always the most peaceful and calm place one can ever be, and I think it is the most attractive part. After we returned, we relived the old memories. I loved that place. We watched the photographs that we clicked. Those are the only memories we can ever get hold of.

Although I am not a religious person, The Golden Temple has attracted me since I began to explore. I had expressed the wish of visiting the temple to my parents multiple times, but we could not plan a single trip to Amritsar due to my busy schedule. So, they decided to surprise me and fulfilled my wish by ending our Himachal Pradesh trip in Amritsar.

My parents, and rarely, some of my close friends, had been my constant travel companion and so, no one else could accompany me on one of my dream trips other than these special people of my life. 

As usual, our Himachal trip was a huge success, but I was excited to go back home after the 20 days trip to celebrate my 25th birthday with my near and dear ones. Therefore, I was irked when we took a detour, which was already planned and I was unaware of. However, when we landed in Amritsar, I became ecstatic. As aforementioned, they had planned to make my birthday memorable by visiting the Golden Temple. Everything went as planned, and at the end of the day, seated by the Amrit Sarovar with my pillars by my side, brought happy tears to my eyes.

The Golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib is not only a pious place for the Sikhs but is also a symbol of brotherhood. It was first built by Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru, in 1604, while the foundation was laid by Mian Mir, a Muslim aesthetic from Lahore. It has faced defacement by various Afghan invaders and was finally rebuilt by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. This amalgamation of various cultures is respected and celebrated in the architecture and philosophy related to this monument. What I like the most about this place is that anybody, irrespective of their caste, religion, or race, is welcomed, offered food and can find solace without hindrance. For me, it is a symbol of humility, equality, and fraternity in a country that houses heterogeneous cultures and beliefs. This visit to one of my favourite places gave me the strength to fight all odds and calmed my anxieties.

From a garage in Silicon Valley to the site of a Native American village buried in a mudslide in Washington State, “12 Unexpected History Trips” describes the history to be found in places all over the United States. Here is the entry on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama:

In early 1965, Martin Luther King Jr. began leading voting rights demonstrations that culminated in the 54-mile historic march from Selma, Ala., to the state capital of Montgomery. Today, on the Selma to Montgomery March Byway (byways.org/explore/byways/2050/index.html), visitors can follow the footsteps of the civil rights marchers by car, beginning in Selma at the Brown Chapel (410 Martin Luther King Street; 334-874-7897; visits by appointment), which was the headquarters of the voting rights movement, and continuing on to the National Voting Rights Museum and Institute (1012 Water Avenue, Selma; 334-418-0800; www.nvrm.org). The museum is at the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge, where the first Selma march was stopped on “Bloody Sunday,” March 7, 1965, by law enforcement officers who unleashed tear gas and billy clubs on protesters. The second march began two days later, led by the Rev. Dr. King, who led 2,000 people from Selma to the bridge, where he stopped to pray. The third and final march took place on March 21, 1965, this time federally sanctioned and with the protection of hundreds of federal agents and National Guardsmen ordered by President Lyndon B. Johnson. Drivers on the historic byway can stop at the city of St. Jude, where the marchers camped on an athletic field in the historic district the night before reaching the capital; that same evening, Harry Belafonte, Tony Bennett and Sammy Davis Jr. performed at a rally there. In Montgomery, on the steps of the Alabama State Capitol Building (600 Dexter Avenue), Dr. King delivered his “How Long, Not Long” speech to a crowd of 30,000. I think the most interesting place I have been would have to be my second cousin’s old house. As my mom’s first cousin she was older than me and was more of an aunt figure. She and her husband treated me like I was their own kid. I live in the city and they lived pretty far out so every time I would go up it was an adventure into a place without high buildings and had houses everywhere without a main road to be seen. It was a very contrary to the apartment building right off of on one of Toronto’s busiest streets where I lived. My best friend lived a few doors down from them and everyday was an adventure and peek into what their daily lives were when I wasn’t there. I was young so everything seemed big and foriegn to me on my frequent weekend visits. Their dog, their stairs, their large fridge, the finished basement and how quiet the night was outside the window (in “my” room). Everything was so interesting and so different. My cousins were friends with their neighbours, which I wasn’t familliar with, I would only see my neighbours when they were on their way to the garbage, and I wasn’t allowed to talk to them. But out there, it seemed that everyone was your friend. I think what made it interesting to me most was the fact that the lifestyle out there was so different to what I grew up in.

I think the most interesting place i’ve been to was Japan, Tokyo. SInce my dad trades items with other countries, he went to alot of foreign places. But since i had to go to school, i couldn’t follow him to any places. (he usually went for 1 week or so.) Still, my dad decided to bring me with him to tokyo (my mom too. and we left my little sister at my grandma’s house. ) It was close to korea backgound so he thought it’ll be great experience for me. and it was. I experienced different hotels. How they serve us food and how we should eat them, difference between USA hotels and Japan hotels. That was only one of the cool things. I went on to many trains/ subways and learned to speak someone of the language. ( how to buy tickets and word ‘excuse me’) Then we went to tokyo disney land and experienced different rides. Mostly, they weren’t as fast and steep as six flags in USA. For the last course, we ate many different food. Starting from breakfast to dinner. (Began with soups and ended with different desserts.) It was great experience for me (as my dad said) because i could learn variety of cultures in Japan and some cultures close to my own country, South Korea.

The most interesting place I have ever been to is a small town in the middle of nowhwere, Canada know by the population of 100 as Dutton.

As a 9 yr-old it was almost magical to live for three weeks with a Dutch/Canadian/German household during Christmas time. I got to watch 6 reruns of Mr Bean when we were snowed in. I got to feel a cow’s tongue on my hand and taste many different foods.

I built snowmen, snowforts and moaned about slow internet.

The best experience I ever had…. if you’re South Korean you’re packed into little apartments with no forest whatsoever.

Hands down, the most interesting place I’ve ever been would have to be Stonehenge, in the English countryside. That’s because it was mind-boggling–how did those huge slabs of stone get to the middle of that plain, and how did they come to rest on top of each ofher? I went to Europe as a young girl, baby-sitting for friends of my parents!

What was interesting was the giant, realistic heart that i would walk through and sit in every time we went. I would sit and listen to the thump- thump and watch the “blood cells” that were projected all over the walls in red and blue. I walked though the heart and it was a way to learn and be fascinated at the same time. since I was 7 when i moved away, it has always been a very special place to me.

The most interesting place i’ve ever been would definitely have to be Utila, a small bay island off the coast of Honduras. The 2 weeks I spent there were amazing. I saw and learned about the most beautiful marine life while learning how to scuba dive, met a bunch of interesting people from all over the world, and tried to cherish the uniqueness and laid-back feel of the island.

It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back.

California. It has a very diverse type of lifestyle and wildlife.

The most interesting place i have ever been to is definitely Dubai. Although I only spent a night there, compared to all other places it was definitely the most memorable. The country itself was beautiful, great buildings, shopping malls. Their food was exquisite, although I couldn’t eat some of it. They are nice people by culture, they love dancing and helping others. All I can say is I only had to spend one night there to find out all this and more. So you be the judge.

The most interesting place i’ve been is Mexico. Mexico has so many beaches to go to it’s so fun.I also met all my cousins that i have in Mexico.I only met my mom’s mom before she passed away when i went to Mexico because all of my grandparents passed waay when i was little.I was in Mexico fo a year in a half.

the most interesting place i have ever been to was skid row in Los Angeles California i went for a mission trip but i was amazed at how many homless people their is and that their is a need for us to help them there is more homeless people in L.A. than the whole city of twin

The most weird place i been to must have been at a paty in Burley. Two years ago i went to a party there, it was not weird, but cool weird. The party was underground, and under the ground there was another party goin on underneath the unground party.

the most interesting place I’ve been is my boyfriends room ha ha just kidding. i have not been to many places but the most interesting place would have to be my cousins and my play house when we where kids. we had so much fun, so many adventures, and so many good memories.

The most interesting place I’ve ever been to is Mount Saint Helens, It was amazing to see the actual volcano up close approximately 5 miles away. Watching the theater of the mountain exploding was heart pounding with its surround system, it sounded as if the mountain was erupting again. Well that day it shot off a little spit or two but that was it… im a huge volcano person, sadly ill never have the job as a geologist but you know, i can go to that place when ever i really want to.

The most interseting place ive ever been had to be in jarbage, Nevada. I went camping with my gramparents and we own a lifted off roading jeep. We went off roading and up grades that not very many people could make it up. The grade was all gravel and very loose rocks but with our jeep we made it up.

The most interesting place I’ve been to, out of all of them, is the Louvre Museum in Paris. I absolutly love it and it has some very big and interesting paintings there.

The most interesting place that I have ever been to is Mexico. It is very beautiful and the beaches are gorgeous. While I was in a poor area of Acapulco, I was blown away by the way the people are, they’re all so happy even though where they live is not the best place. They are very hard working and dedicated individuals. Witnessing that was the most rewarding part of going to Mexico.

World is full of beauty places and they all are beauty because of their past , because of their history , because of the silence , because of the old buildings presents because of the beauty and etc . In my life I visited many places in Pakistan not out side of the the Pakistan , reason not out of the country is because my country never let me move ahead for looking the worlds beauty , because my is own self full of beauty , peace and love and brotherhood , the peoples of my country are very careful of the places and they protect them from any daises . in my country their are many , hundred of the places from all the beauty places i was visited till know are SHAH ABDUL LATIF BATTIH sharines, sachal sarmast shrines , kengr dand , Hyderabad, Sukkur , Khairpur , Shikarpur , Quetta , Islamabd , ko mare and so on etc , they all are beauty and lovely . among all i like the the most beautiful place is KO MARI , It is a beauty place i ever visited earlier like this place , this place is in the clouds , and the beauty which makes it Greenness of trees , and flowers etc . this is the one of the most beautiful place , its cool and silent place , there were some times only voices of birds in the big tress and they also make this place beauty , their voices are different and they always give the message of love and peace , And from many ares peoples come to visit this beauty place they are not only from Pakistan they are also from other countries , they come their and spend their holidays , and they come with their families for visiting this beauty place . its a wonderful place , its a peace of JINNAH. I also invite you all to visit this beauty place and may Allah save the all beauty places of my country and all over the world (Ameen)
