The PhD Urdu program is an advanced and rigorous academic journey designed to cultivate high-level expertise in Urdu language, literature, and linguistics. The program offers a comprehensive exploration of Urdu’s literary heritage, spanning classical, medieval, and modern periods, while also encouraging innovative research in contemporary Urdu studies.
The coursework includes in-depth studies of key literary figures, movements, and genres, alongside critical analysis of Urdu poetry, prose, and drama.
