A decent attempt to make a sports drama...!!! But eventually, you can smell the ending from afar. While Aadhi did a decent job to portray a budding sportsperson whose career takes an unexpected turn, the weak screenplay and sloppy editing wreaks havoc on the overall feel and emotional connect of the film. Overall, it is a decent one time watch.

Debutant Prithivi Adithya's Clap is a typical sports drama about an underdog overcoming the odds. There are two underdogs here. The protagonist Kathir (Aadhi), who had to miss out on his career due to an accident and then there is Bhagyalakshmi (Krisha Kurup), who is bogged down by her family and pushed away by the system.

Though the movie has a good point, the slow narration becomes a hurdle to make it an engaging sports drama. The director should have made it better by writing a crisp screenplay with more twists and turns.
