My Dream Home: Personal View

Most people need a place where they can relax, feel safe and comfortable. A place, where they want to go after a hard day at work or an intense day with their friends. Most people call such place home. Although it is not easy to build or make a house or an apartment a good place to live in, I want my dream house to be a great place with both simple and exquisite features.

To begin with, my dream home must have both nice interior and exterior. The exterior has to contain a swimming pool and a huge lawn. I can swim in the swimming pool in summer and call my friends to come over and have a picnic on the lawn.

Besides, the house itself has to be big in size with a garage where I can keep my car. It should contain two floors including an attic. I also want it to have a spacious porch and huge French windows. The attic is important because I want to keep my telescope there and watch the Moon and stars from it. This little observatory will inspire me to dream about galaxies far away before I would go to sleep.

Moreover, the ground floor should have a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a gym, and a bathroom. The kitchen must contain all the cooking appliances and be a good place to stay, even if you do not cook anything. A living room has to have squishy furniture, a big bookcase with lots of books in it, a fireplace, and a huge TV. I cannot help imagining myself sitting in this room in winter next to the fireplace and reading a captivating novel or watching an atmospheric movie. The dining room is supposed to be bright with a light-colored wall, big windows, and many paintings of nature on the walls. The gym is an essential part as well. There I can work out whenever I want to keep fit. A bathroom would feature a bathtub and a shower cabin – nothing unusual.

In addition, the first floor will have a few large bedrooms, a trophy room, and a bathroom. The bedroom has to contain a large, comfortable bed, a sleeping table with a lamp on it, in case I would want to read something at night, and a soft Persian carpet on the floor. It should have a TV opposite the bed, and a balcony. It would be so nice to wake up, go to the balcony and breathe some fresh air in the morning. A trophy room would be the most special room. There I would keep all my sentimental things starting from family photos and ending with sports awards. Things like postcards from my friends or some of my birthday presents will be kept in that room. It would be nice to come to that room and think of all the pleasant moments that happened to me. I can also bring my friends so I can share those moments with them as well.

Of course, I have not forgotten about the basement where the laundry room and the stock room would be located. The stock room would be huge and contain food supplies. The things that I do not need at that moment, but still want to keep would also be there.

To conclude, I would like to state that it does not really matter what your house look like unless it feels like home.

It has to be ideally placed and have it as a two-story building. There has to be a raised ground floor. My dream house has to be attractive, exceptional and charming. It has to give unique appeal, have a distinct air of luxury. I like modern houses with a symmetrical and well-proportioned facade. I plan to have flowerbeds near my house with different flowers. I adore flowers and different small bushes and trees. I want to have a living room, two bedrooms, a guest’s room, a nursery, a dining room, and a library in my house as well as a great terrace. I hope it will have an efficient floor plan. I want my house to have all amenities. Let’s start with a kitchen; Like many women, I like to cook. So, my dream kitchen has to be an island one with a pantry, too. I think it would be great to have a combined formal living room and dining room. I want to have a walk-in-closet. The main idea of my living room is a fireplace with a fur carpet on the floor near it. I believe it is comfortable. My first floor has to be ample with space for socializing. Moreover, my upper floor has to have two bedrooms and a guest room. My bedroom has to be deluxe, elegant, and trendsetting in ivory shades with pastel curtains and modern furniture. Another bedroom will be for my future children. It can be in blue or green colors but attractive, sunny and comfortable. I would like to have a spa-tub in my bathroom or bedroom. In conclusion, it is possible to say that dreams can come true and we need to work on them to make them real. Living in a house is nice as it is your castle and the place where all the family can gather together and feel comfortable. It is more comfortable for children to live in a house where they have more space to play. So, a separate house is your independent area.

My Dream House

A2 level reading comprehension.

My dream house has lots of rooms and blue windows. It is yellow and has a big brown front door. There is a huge living room with comfortable sofas and enormous TV screen on the wall for my family and I to spend time together.

In the basement, there is a giant game room with a ping-pong table and drum set for me and my friends. It has a fridge for drinks and snacks.

There are extra bedrooms so my friends can spend the night .My bedroom is blue with lots of shelves for my toy car collection. There are lots of posters of my favorite actors and singers, but they are big electronic screens so they can change all the time! There is also a brand new computer, a sound system and a telescope because I love astronomy! My bed is special! You climb a tall ladder to get it, I sleep under a window, and I can see the stars at night!

Outside my house, there is giant swimming pool with water and field nearby for my beautiful black horse.

Paragraph about my dream house

My dream is to live in a big house surrounded by a big garden full of flowers and trees. My house should be located outside the city, on the outskirts of town where I can find true peace and happiness. Therefore, my dream house should have the characteristics that represent who I am with its location as well as its interior and exterior design. From my point of view, the location of my house is very important and the surroundings and the design should be carefully considered.

I've always been fascinated by the sounds of the outdoors. I'd feel very lively every morning if I was woken up by the sound of doves perching on the branches of the trees in my yard. In this respect, I imagine my house

near a flowing river, built in the countryside. It would be located in such a place that I could find fresh water and air. Also, I'd like to be near to the center of a big city so that I will be able to go sopping when I needed to.

As a matter of fact, peace and harmony combined with nature would be the basic feature of the location of my dream house. The exterior of my home would have a long concreted circled driveway. I would have a lot of flower beds around my home with flowers of vibrant colors. I also would love to have a patio that wrapped around the front and the back of my 4500 square foot home. The exterior walls of my home would be magnificent bright colors of blues, oranges, yellows and greens with a fe

Also in the backyard I would love to have a in ground swimming pool, Jacuzzi, ball court, and a family gym. In my swimming pool a small bar built in the pool would be great, especially for the summer months. The interior of my home would consist of eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, one living room, two dining, areas, one kitchen, one library, one playroom, and one office. My bedrooms would be adorned with rustic furniture, vibrant colors for the bedding with matching curtains and rugs. In each bedroom there would also be a huge spacious walk in closet.

All ten bathrooms would be furnished with Mexican art work on the walls and the counter tops around my tub, sink, and shower will be adorned with Mexican tiles. I also would like to have a humungous closet in each bathroom for storage, and a lot of cabinet space. My living room would be almost the biggest room in my home to accommodate a large family. It would need to have a lot of sitting area, a huge flat screen TV on the wall, a fireplace, and a theater style surround sound. In the two dining areas they would need to consist of tables and seating for around twenty people.

Kitchen area would be the biggest part of my dream home. I would like all appliances in my kitchen to metal and all matching. In the center of my kitchen would be an island that was spacious and one of my stoves would be placed at the end of the island. I would have barstools around part of the island so my

children could sit there and eat their breakfast every morning. I would need an enormous amount of cabinet and storage in my kitchen as well, so that I would have enough storage area for thing i would need in my kitchen. It would be stocked with all sorts of need cooking tools.

Family room

My family room, library, and play room will be where my books, games, Nintendo’s, will be stored. My office would need to be spacious, as i do not like to feel suffocated in small areas. I would have all new office furniture and equipment that would accommodate my working from home. All in All, I do not realistacally see myself having such a spacious and gorgeous home, but i still will strive for this so that maybe one day i will be able to afford my dream home. I enjoy visualizing about this extradinary home. I will always continue to have dreams and hopes.

My dream house is simple yet it is a house where I think I can live happily and comfortably with my family. I choose it to be made out of wood so that it would be environment-friendly and to be appropriate with the location near the lake. This concludes my dream house.
